It is difficult to get a handle on the form of this race, so keep a very close eye on the betting market, as the point-to-pointers really know the time of day when it comes to these hunter chases. Without being armed with that knowledge, we'll nominate Jackson ahead of Supreme Silence, Abadou and Scottish Roots. The first-three-named are all recent pointing scorers, with the selection having a good rider booked. Scottish Roots should go well as he looked progressive in point-to-points last year and ran well over regulation fences last time out. As we say, watch the betting carefully but our tentative selection is Jackson.
