In depth
Verdict
Philip Hobbs saddles two here in Fool On The Hill and Lacdoudal, with the former preferred and he gets the verdict over Nawamees and Mio Cara. The last mentioned ran promisingly on British debut before making a bad mistake over course and distance last time when eventually pulled up. He could be interesting especially now that the stable of Noel Chance is back among the winners. Gary Moore's Nawamees has run well in defeat since scoring at Ascot in November and should be thereabouts again but preference is for Fool On The Hill. The selection has shown progressive form over timber and put up his best performance so far when beating the useful Bourbon Manhattan at Wincanton last month. He looks more than capable of carrying his penalty to victory. The John Jenkins-trained Ezz Elkheil looks the pick of the newcomers and is another worthy of a mention, along with Paul Webber's Ludlow bumper winner Flame Phoenix but the vote goes to Fool On The Hill.
