    Verdict

With Eric's Charm likely to go to Kempton this looks a simple task for Jazz D'Estruval to beat Ravenscar. The Nicky Richards trained eight-year-old has returned to the track in great heart, beating two very decent types in Tribal Venture and Trabolgan on his two visits to the racecourse. With ground and trip in his favour as well he should easily be capable of giving weight away to Ravenscar, who is a modest handicapper rated just 81 on his last outing. If Eric's Charm does partake in the contest he will be a big danger to the selection having jumped well to beat Hirvine at Folkestone in December, but even a the four pound he receives should not be enough for him to beat Jazz D'Estruval who is still entered in The Royal And Sun Alliance Chase at the festival, and should easily take this prize, wether there is one or two opponents
