Foodbroker Founder made a big impression when scoring on his Taunton debut and can confirm that promise here, with his biggest dangers reckoned to be Jacks Craic, Reservoir, Roi de l'Odet, Ponderon and Fiddles Music. Much as the form of the selection's debut success took a knock during the week, he should be able to build on that run and, rated in the 80s when winning on the Flat, ought to go well here. Reservoir's second to Etendard Indien was not boosted at Newbury on Friday, but he showed enough there to suggest that he can win a race of this nature. Villago is one to watch out for in the betting, while Nicky Henderson's Roi de l'Odet showed ability in France before coming to England and, unlike when he ran over hurdles last year, his stable is in better form now. Ponderon won over 12 furlongs from a mark of 82 on the Flat so could be interesting, while Magnesium is surely better than he showed on his Newbury debut. Dancinginthestreet won over two miles on the Flat and holds claims, and Fiddles Music proved herself on the upgrade by winning at Plumpton, although more will be needed today. Classic Role is another who could win a race in this sphere, but Briareus will have to step up on his Chepstow hurdling debut to feature. Jacks Craic has a very solid level of form and, even under a penalty, can go well but, for us, today the selection is Foodbroker Founder.
