Verdict

I'm For Waiting gets the confident vote here with Rayware Boy and Maunby Roller the best of the rest. The selection was having only his second run for two years when finishing second behind Cooling Off at Warwick last month, and he is sure to come on for that outing so looks the one to beat. He is a course and distance winner and now that his problems are seemingly behind him, he is difficult to oppose. Rayware Boy should go well but is not the most genuine and tends to travel well in his races without finding much off the bridle. Maundy Roller could therefore give our selection the most to do as he was a good winner at Fakenham last time, with Rayware Boy back in second. However, he has a 7lb penalty for that win, and is opposed for that reason here. Of the rest, Lord Pat is a course and distance winner so is respected, but he is returning from a break and may just need the run, so we are happy to stick with our selection I'm For Waiting.
