Verdict

BANNY'S LAD has been raised 8lb for a convincing victory at Sedgefield last month and is going the right way over fences. Potential remains for further improvement and he can defy this career-high mark. Civil Unrest has proved a consistent servant for James Ewart and is a key rival as he'll be well suited by conditions and continues to run his race. However, he has appeared more effective over the minimum trip. Washed Ashore was well punted throughout the day when last seen but ran a drab race at Southwell so take note if the money comes for him again on this second start over fences. Chestnut Ben, a grand veteran campaigner, should be on the premises once again, having remained in good heart throughout the spring months.
