RAINY CITY has bumped into a couple of useful sorts in his two chases to date. He stuck well to the task when runner-up to Baby Bach at Perth last month, having jumped well throughout. He sports first-time blinkers and tongue tie here which will hopefully aid his case further and can make his chasing experience count against Ballinure. The latter has some decent hurdling form and now makes his chasing debut. He may well prove better over the larger obstacles but was rated some 13lb below his rival over hurdles. Double U Dot Ede's has little chance on the book but is guaranteed prize money with a clear round.
