Nicky Henderson has a 40% strike rate with his bumper runners here and that's reason enough to give the vote to Whizz Back. Debutantes, Sparkling Brook and Lady Samantha both make appeal on paper and would be of interest if the vibes are positive. Any number of these have shown a glimmer of ability and it remains to be seen how much more there is to come. The market may help shed some light on proceedings; amongst those to the fore of calculations are Estrica, Flowing On, Definitely It and Fair Katerina. Lady Samantha is the first foal of Lady Rebecca and her year younger half-brother has already shown up well in bumpers. Sparkling Brook also looks the part on paper and it would be no surprise to see her show up well. The selection finished in front of a couple of these at Huntingdon at the start of the month. She got a bit outpaced that day which would have to be a concern this afternoon but we'll take a chance that she's made sufficient progress in the interim, so Whizz Back it is.
