Erzen is a very interesting newcomer for Nicky Henderson here but the form of FIRST AVENUE in these types of races is more appealing with Treeko considered after a pleasing outing last time. The selection was outclassed in a top race at Aintree last time out. That was an unrealistic challenge but now back into the standard he picked up a maiden on his penultimate start he should be back to his best. Erzen is related to plenty of high class winners both on the level and over jumps including Ascot Gold Cup Enzeli. His two race flat career offered very little encouragement but his top trainer saw something he liked about him and paid a tidy sum. Treeko looked much improved in a similar race last time and could be hitting form while Tri Nations was introduced to jumping at an unrealistic high level after a fair flat career and he should be better at this level. Another good contest for us here with First Avenue the percentage call.
