BRUSLINI's supporters can recoup Newbury losses and confine Moment Present and Torphichen to minor roles. The grey who runs in Terry Warner's colours was backed as though defeat was out of the question in a hot Newbury event but raced keenly and failed to get home in the testing ground but Ludlow should be much more to his liking. He hurdled well in the most part and can be expected to take this before going on to better things. He won't have everything his own way as Moment Present has shown a decent level of form and looked sure to be involved in the finish when departing at Newbury. Tayarat represents one of the track's leading trainers and was highly tried last time. He does need to improve but already threatens to be a useful performer and could take a hand. Torphichen was made favourite for three of his four runs for Michael Jarvis and ran off a mark of eighty five on his final start. He's a potentially interesting recruit and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of his chances but Bruslini could turn out to be a cut above this field.
