Verdict

On paper this novice chase looks a match between WEST WITH THE WIND and Sunsetten and, with the former carrying more experience over jumps than his rival, we opt for the Evan Williams-trained runner while Remember Bampi looks best of the rest. Just about the best of these over timber the selection has shown about the same level of ability in a handful of starts over fences. He's found just the one too good on his last two starts over the big stuff and with conditions suiting him he should go well. Sunsetten did win his only start at this track and doesn't have much to find on hurdles form. He, however, was very disappointing on his chase debut when pulling up so he has a bit to prove this time. Remember Bampi ran a solid race on his rules debut but will need to build on that to get in contention and with none of the others making any appeal we have to side with West With The Wind.
