In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Graffiti Tongue, Villa, Wild Chimes and The Flyer and the vote is given to Graffiti Tongue. The selection has a progressive profile and although he is running off a all time high mark he is as very game and he is taken to defy the handicapper again. Villa rates the main danger he was a fair bumper performer in his youth and is sure to have come on for his first run of the season which saw him finish second behind Ice Crystal, he hails from a top yard and should be monitored closely in the market. Wild Chimes is another that could go well but his best form of late has been over fences and he looks high enough in the weights for what he has actually achived so he is passed over on this occasion. The Flyer would have place claims on his best form but he is far from consistent. Of the remainder Putup Or Shutup looks to be on a handy mark but may just need the run after a 769 day absence and for the winner we return to Graffiti Tongue.
