Kim Bailey has a few fancied runners on today’s card and can finish with a winner in the shape of LORD APPARELLI. Though easy to back on a warm-looking contest at Ascot on debut, he showed plenty of promise and will be more the finished article here. Mont Segur is a danger as he was only beaten a couple of lengths at Wincanton, despite hanging up the home straight. Lex Eleven was staying on when second at Sedgefield in October but will probably need a bit more while Presuming Ed never looked like winning when fourth at Uttoxeter. Bretney and Shore Shanty are among the more interesting newcomers.
