Verdict

Once again the vote goes to the bang-in form Philip Hobbs team and their representative She's Our Native. The Be My Native mare finished second behind a highly-regarded winner at Taunton in January and is unlikely to meet anything of that standard here. The more experienced Beechwood has improved with every outing and was only just denied at Wincanton last time out. He should run his race again while there are a couple of interesting debutantes. Hughie Morrison sends out Politely who is Flat-bred and worth a note in the market, while the same could be said of Iftikhar. The latter is a beautifully-bred son of Storm Cat who should not be lacking for speed.
