Dantes Venture's jumping let him down in a competitive race here last time, however is worth a chance to get his act together in this company. He is the clear pick on the official ratings and has always suggested that a step up in trip will bring out considerable improvement following some reasonable efforts behind good horses. Iceberge was a clear-cut winner at Huntingdon last time but that was a weak race and he was left clear at the last. He does though possess ability and is likely to make a far better chaser next season. The rest look a poor bunch with the only other interesting runner being Grayslake. Representing Henrietta Knight in this company he should not be underestimated and although held by Iceberge on his debut under Rules, he was set a stiff task last time and ran well for a very long way. Improvement here would be no surprise.
