A poor contest where we will very tentatively suggest COVEY to score, while With Speed and Bio Boy can get competitive. The last-named switches back to hurdling after being kept to fences for eight of his 10 career starts. His mark here of 89 is 11lbs higher than what the assessor has made of his chase form in Ireland, and both trip and ground will suit. In this company he should be capable of going close. With Speed has Tony McCoy up for Ron O'Leary. He has had jumping problems in the past and some of his form entitles him to be short list material here. He acts on a sound surface, but is better with cut. A reproduction of his Fontwell form should see Albert Park competitive, though he has a bit to prove after his latest start, while Wingull performed with credit last time after a break and can show some improvement for the run. Even so, we just prefer Covey. John O'Shea's mare is not the most consistent of performers, but this is her optimum trip and ground and she has shown enough ability to suggest that, with a first-time visor hopefully a positive, she can take this.
