Pure Brief and Lord On The Run are closely matched on running behind Donovan at Towcester last month and have claims, along with Donovan's stablemate Ready To Rumble who has been kept busy over the last month, but a chance is taken with Granite Man. The selection makes his debut over fences as well as his handicap debut but his trainer has wasted no time in putting him over the larger obstacles and there is a chance that Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is potentially well treated. She's My Girl showed some promise here last time and a market move for her would be of interest, while Nayodabayo cannot be ruled out on his first start for Evan Williams but is probably best watched. Flower of Pitcur will need to have come on a bundle for his reappearance, while Henrietta Knight's Tuesday's Child got no further than the second fence on his chasing debut at Cheltenham recently and may not be a reliable betting proposition. The same could be said of Granite Man but Jonjo O'Neill's horses have generally improved with racing this term and there may be more to come for the switch to fences.
