In depth

Verdict

Saucy Night, does not have a penalty to carry for his facile success at Plumpton last time as that came in a conditional jockeys' handicap so Simon Earle's gelding is hard to oppose and gets the vote ahead of Think Quick and Mounts Bay. The last mentioned ran well when last seen and would claims if in a similar vein of form for his return to action but lack of a recent run is of concern. Seveneightsix is lightly raced and showed promise on his reappearance so would have to be respected along with the reappearing Miss Rideamight. Think Quick has been placed in similar contests in his last two starts and is another with place claims but Saucy Night won with plenty in hand at Plumpton, is set to go up 10lbs in future handicaps and cannot realistically be opposed.
