Verdict

A competitive mares handicap with more than half of the field winning last time. The hat-trick seeking Henrietta Bell has gone up a further 7lb and Skewiff had only three rivals at Fontwell last month but Misty Bloom beat a bigger field at Warwick, though may have preferred a quicker surface. Inessa and MIDNIGHT GLORY won races at Fakenham and Exeter respectively on the same day in May. The former is on the up but the latter won over track and trip in November last year and there is likely to be a strong pace in this so her stamina could come into play. Aweeminit won at Bangor in August but couldn’t cope with an 11lb rise at Uttoxeter and is a pound higher here.
