Despite the fact that Martin Pipe has an obvious chance with newcomer La Vita E Bella, it might be worth risking a small wager on Murhill's Pride from last year's winning stable of Mark Brisbourne. Twelve months ago it was Warminghamsharpish who collected under Richie Forristal. This time Brisbourne has booked Tony McCoy for the stable's entry Murhill's Pride who needed the run at Hereford in September, having been absent since running out at Worcester on his debut in July. Granted, his form so far looks nothing special, but for the reasons stated, he must be worth more than a passing glance and can repay modest support in what is not a strong race. La Vita E Bella is a bit of an unknown quantity, but Pipe always does well with his French imports, so she will go off fancied for that fact alone. Petite Margot is the most experienced and her third at Hereford shows that she is progressing along the right lines. It would be no surprise if she were to improve again and score, but with McCoy booked to ride, Murhill's Pride can cause an upset in the finale. One last thing-if the champion decides to switch, we advise you to do the same!
