A big field and a few for consideration but it is KING BREX who is preferred to Markila, Quilan Hill and Rawaabet. The selection has been bumped up to a mark of 120 for this handicap debut following an easy Kempton novice win last time. That was his first start on a sound surface and it evidently suited so it would be no surprise to see him find further improvement with that maiden win under his belt. Blinkers may rejuvenate Weather Front (they will need to), Jeepstar represents a yard having an amazing season but he has twice failed to complete recently, whilst Markila is consistent enough but she looks to be on a high enough mark here. The two course and distance winners down at the bottom of the weights, namely Desert Lover and Golden Square, both need to be considered along with Rawaabet who has an excellent conditional aboard and is rated better than recent flat outings might suggest. Sydney Sling is unexposed and his form looks very solid, especially as he has had to carry penalties in runs behind both Stow and Ski Sunday. Quillan Hill is another for consideration, especially if the market speaks in his favour, however in a tough handicap it is King Brex who can reign supreme.
