This should be a straightforward task for GEE DEE NEN who is selected to see off Shenanigan and Aqualung. Jim Best has only sent out one winner at the track but he looks to have a good chance here with the 92-rated flat horse Gee Dee Nen. He was bought for a fair whack by current connections but is yet to really repay much. After a ready win here in February he was dropped in trip but upped in class and with the opposite happening here (three miles against inferior opposition) he is taken to win. Baddam was classy on the flat and would be interesting if taking to hurdles on his second start. His first was rather ignominious but it was over too short a trip at a sharp track and this looks sure to suit more. Charlie Mann has a 1 in 3 strike-rate here so Aqualung must be considered. He didn't run to his true form when pulled up at Fontwell in March but if he bounces back then he may not be far away from adding to his course win. Sawpit Solitaire and Shenanigan get weight from their rivals, whilst Creagh Boy doesn¿t have age on his side but he should appreciate this longer trip. An intriguing race but Gee Dee Nen can win it.
