In depth

Verdict

Sainte Kadette is taken to make the most of this drop in grade and give weight and a beating to the field but there are some interesting fillies in opposition. Atomic Winner and Sharp Dresser have already shown winning form so are obvious dangers. The former won a fair race at Huntingdon where her proficient jumping was arguably a key component of her success whilst the latter readily accounted for a pretty average field at Taunton. Both won well but need to improve to trouble the selection. Nicky Henderson has a fine record at this track over the years and market support for his ex-German Flat runner Fairlyand who came within a whisker of winning at Listed level would look significant. The selection began her British career with a comfortable success at Cheltenham before coming up short in races won by Franchoek and Working Title. She caught the eye running on well in the Fred Winter and Sainte Kadette will be fancied to make the most of this drop in grade.
