It might be worth chancing Jayed each-way in a tricky seller that gets things underway at Ludlow. He gets the nod over the frustrating Forbearing and Downtherefordancing, who are also capable at this level and are likely to provide the sternest challenges. The last named can be a bit of a monkey at the start and is one to have reservations about for the time being. That said, he will be very hard to keep out of the frame if he consents to start with the rest today. Caper is another to bear in mind, as he has at least gone well at this course and has also place claims now that he has got the hang of what is required of him over hurdles. Forebearing was never the most consistent performer when he was trained by Sir Mark Prescott for the Flat, but he did manage three wins over hurdles during his time with Martin Pipe. However, he is also an unpredictable character and he has run as many bad races as good ones during his time. Therefore, Jayed appeals the likely prices, as some of his best efforts have come at this course and, with a 10lb conditional easing his burden at the weights, the son of Marju makes plenty of each-way appeal in a race where nothing stands out as a reliable win-only selection.
