Friendly Fellow is taken to follow up his recent success at the expense of Paddington Green and Chase The Sunset. Friendly Fellow has not progressed since being sent off as favourite for a Listed bumper at Cheltenham on his debut in November, but was finally found a winning opportunity by Martin Pipe at Towcester 10 days ago. Milton Harris snapped him up after that selling victory so must have spotted some potential, and as this is not much better, he can follow up on his first start for the stable. The application of blinkers appears to have brought about improvement in Paddington Green who has posted a couple of seconds recently. He looks sure to make a bold bid for the frame along with Chase The Sunset who looks capable of winning over hurdles before his attention is switched to the bigger obstacles. Light des Mulottes has some ability and makes some appeal for place purposes as well, but Friendly Fellow can defy his penalty in what is in truth a moderate contest.
