Verdict

Kitty Galore was returning from a long break when making all for a convincing victory at Ballinrobe but was engaged in the 4.35 here yesterday. Falco Blitz won four times for Nicky Henderson and Eric McNamara will get the best out of him while Mattie's Mountain reverted to fences here on Sunday and produced his best run to date. Jack Holiday is very consistent at this sort of level and, though 3lb out of the handicap, is still on a fair mark but Sil Ver Klass has failed to take advantage of a lower hurdles mark recently. THE DARA MAN jumped poorly when pulling up at Sligo but his earlier close fourth in a Grade B handicap at Killarney would be good enough for this. Down Royal novice winner Bythesametoken probably needed a confidence-booster at Ballinrobe after falling at Leopardstown.
