In depth

Verdict

Ambitious Fellow had scored twice over the trip before making his handicap debut in a Grade B at Galway where he was in touch when brought down three out. Lieutenant Highway completed a hat-trick before making his handicap debut at Bellewstown where he had no problems with today's trip. Benny The Duke had been gradually improving before landing a Ballinrobe maiden though he'd been 11 lengths behind Starzov at Roscommon earlier. Willie Mullins runs two with Paul Townend on board CHAMP KIELY. A winning bumper, he sauntered home on his hurdling bow at Galway and looks one to follow. Stablemate Nos Na Gaoithe also won easily at Ballinrobe and should be suited by this longer trip.
