In depth

Verdict

Mark Walsh has chosen MICA MALPIC over Birchdale and his mount, an easy winner at Kilbeggan, had the form of his latest placed effort there boosted when the winner landed the Kerry National on Wednesday. Brideswell Lad completed a double in April and took advantage of a much lower hurdles mark at Wexford three weeks ago. Mars Harper returned to winning ways on that same track in July but the consistent Junior Rattler is 4lb out of the handicap and this is very competitive. Take All and Mr Saxobeat are others with chances.
