Northern Surprise won't mind the conditions and arrives in good form after last month's victory on soft ground at Bellewstown when Love Letter, who will be 6lb better off, was beaten four lengths. JACKEMIL hasn't won since May 2013 when scoring from a mark of 66 and she's now 18lb lower. There have been signs of an imminent victory from this sort of mark recently and, in these conditions, a low weight is a bonus so she's taken to end that long losing spell. Future Earner was close behind her at Gowran last time and as that was her first start since October she should go close, though the fact that she's still a maiden after 26 starts is off-putting. Snakes And Ladders looked to have a fair chance in the 3.45 here yesterday so that result should be monitored.
