Virgil Earp is a fine prospect who jumped superbly to beat Devil's Elbow at Galway but it's asking a lot for a four-year-old to beat some strong older opposition. Alderwood is very useful but two of his three hurdling successes have come over 2m6f and he has enough weight over this shorter trip. LAGANBANK has a little ground to make up on some of these but he looked one to follow when sauntering home at Galway and looks to have a bright future. None of the remainder can be ruled out in what should prove to be an informative contest for the coming months.
