Snow Falcon probably isn’t the force of old but he placed twice over hurdles last month and finished ahead of Ornua in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse earlier. Mortal is also held on the form book and Noel Meade’s 11-year-old can make the frame again. SAMCRO came right back to form when beating Peregrine Run seven lengths in a Killarney Grade 3 four weeks ago. Both carry penalties here but should be involved in the finish again with the mare Abbey Magic having a bit to find on these terms. Darasso merits serious consideration, however, as he is 3-5 over fences and won very easily over hurdles at Killarney last month when Snow Falcon was third.
