In depth

Verdict

Bay Breeze has shown ability in a couple of starts at Carlisle and shapes as though the extra furlong will suit. Golden Sands, High Fibre and Last Hoorah are all newcomers worth a market check, particularly the latter who is a half-brother to several winners, but it might be worth giving another chance to BASTOGNE. David Evans’ sprint-bred gelding was slowly away when starting favourite at Windsor last week and will know more today. Rickenbacker also ran green when fourth at Chester but may need more time.
