      Verdict

      Outbox is a tough front-runner but, along with Spanish Archer, has to give 4lb to the others. HIGHEST GROUND has been highly tried since winning a couple of novice events at the start of his career. He still has time on his side and there will be some long faces around Newmarket if he doesn’t pass this test with flying colours. Enthused scrambled home at Beverley on a first start for Chris Dwyer but that didn’t suggest he was up to this grade and Battle Of Toro has had a year on the sidelines.
