Verdict

Great Universe is among the most exposed and penalised for winning at Clonmel two runs ago but will be hard to keep out of the frame in this. A winner between the flags in 2021, High Class Hero has switched to Willie Mullins’ yard which sent out the winner of this in 2014 and again two years ago. Upton Fox, a half-brother to winning chaser Springfield Fox, is worth noting for future reference as is newcomer Wilmeaulpalwinbos but the well-regarded KINBARA has already won a point and a bumper and can give John McConnell back-to-back victories in this contest.
