Verdict

It's difficult to get away from the chances of HOSPITAL, who has won two races narrowly in recent weeks, both times coming with a late run over shorter trips. He's up another 6lb for his latest victory but is progressing fast enough to overcome the burden over this longer distance. False Economy is a very useful hurdler who hasn't had too much experience over fences though he does have a victory to his credit. He ran very well over hurdles at Fairyhouse last month and should now be approaching his peak. Edward O'Grady has three entries with Barry Geraghty's mount The Way We Were possibly the best of them as he's been operating at a higher level. Lord Ben could prove a threat as he's a good ground performer who will appreciate the conditions and had a prep run after a long break at Killarney last month.
