      Verdict

I CONFESS is the form pick to land the finale with both Southandwest and Cornus worth noting. The selection runs off the same mark as he did when winning over course and distance recently. He was falsely rated at around 85 during the summer and it is only now that he has been able to be competitive. He comes to the race in fine form and is the one to stay on the right side of for the time being. Southandwest has been running well in defeat of late. Again he has been rated higher in the past and has to be respected off his current mark. Cornus looks fairly exposed and although he ran well when second of twenty one at Doncaster last month he was disappointing when last seen on the all weather so has to be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to I Confess.
