        Verdict

        TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA is taken to land this handicap at the expense of Lithaam and Our Fugitive. The selection was good enough to win off a mark of 87 in his hay day and although he is nowhere near that level of ability these days he has slipped to a mark he is more than capable of winning off. He has been in decent form of late and the handicapper seems to have given him another chance of getting his head in front so is worth staying on the right side of for the time being. Our Fugitive has not won for a while also but he has dropped in the weights as a consequence also. If returning to anywhere near his best he warrants respect. Lithaam comes from the Milton Bradley yard whose horses have begun to run well of late. He has had a couple of years he would rather forget but as a result his horses look well handicapped. Lithaam won nicely at Southwell before putting in a brave effort when second to Now You See Me at the same venue thereafter and another good run can be expected. However for the winner we return to Triskaidekaphobia.
