The vote here goes to Copper Bay ahead of Masquerader, Spectral Star and New Realm. Copper Bay's third behind Sir Edward Elgar on his latest start brings him into things here, hence his selection status in what has the look of a modest race, while Spectral Star showed plenty of promise on her debut and, as you can forgive her hampered-in-running latest start, has to be considered too. Better has been expected of Masquerader, and he has shown some promise, and he is not entirely ruled out as he takes a half-mile step up in trip today. Finally, Shardakhan is beautifully bred although he now stands as an Aga Khan cast off and New Realm has shown enough to suggest that he might make the placings. Overall, though, we will side with Copper Bay.
