        Verdict

        Ledgerwood ran better at Wolverhampton last time, was good value for his win here three starts ago and is taken to resume winning ways back at Lingfield, getting the verdict ahead of My Shadow and What's For Tea. The last mentioned has been holding her form well of late but may just be a shade high in the weights at present and may be booked for a place at best. Richard Hannon's Desiderio has run better in his last two starts but needs to improve to trouble the judge, while Chanteuse de Rue may do better now sent handicapping but does need to improve. Simon Dow's My Shadow has been given a chance by the handicapper and has to be respected but it is Ledgerwood that gets the vote.
