Samuel Charles is nominated to land the opener with Climate, Hansomelle and Golden Spectrum others that warrant consideration. Samuel Charles, twice a winner earlier in the season comes here on the back of a disappointing effort at Wolverhampton where he appeared to get outpaced in a higher class of race over a trip that is short of his best. Over a mile and back in claiming grade he has a leading chance. Climate does reserve his best for Wolverhampton and has his fourth run of the month here. He has a high draw also which is not a help while Hansomelle has been reverting between NH and flat in recent months and a major worry would be the shorter distance. Alan Munro is an eye catching booking for Golden Spectrum who would need to step up on recent performances. In a contest short of any semblance of quality, Samuel Charles is the pick.
