Ciccone gets the vote in this handicap to open the card with Apache Fort and Blackmail rated as the main dangers. The selection ran a blinder last time when chasing home Time To Regret at Wolverhampton. That rival has since come out and run well in defeat so the form looks quite solid and this filly looks to have a really solid chance. Blackmail looks to main danger, although he has been a bit disappointing of late. However, there is no doubting that he would take all the beating if he could get anywhere near his best and with Eddie Ahern doing the steering he has genuine claims. Apache Fort won well last time but he has a penalty for that success and with the drop in trip also a negative we are happy to take him on. Andrew Balding's Voice Mail ran well last time and looks the best of the rest but we are happy to stick with Ciccone as our idea of the winner.
