This maiden will not take much winning and Fustaan is given the nod ahead of Silkie Smooth and Waqaarr. The selection hails from the Marcus Tregoning yard and she showed enough on her debut when chasing home Silca Chiave at Newbury to make her the one to beat today. Silkie Smooth seemed to find this trip a little on the sharp side at Wolverhampton last time and although she ran okay she has now had plenty of chances. Waqaarr is an interesting newcomer from a top yard so a watching brief on the market is advised but if there was strong support for this colt then it could pay to follow the money. However, Fustaan looked a nice prospect on her debut and she is taken to open her account on her all-weather bow.
