Happy As Larry is the selection here ahead of Mina A Salem and Kabeer. The selection has been running consistently well on the all-weather this winter and although he has taken a steady rise in the weights accordingly, he could be good enough to take this. Mina A Salem won well last time out over this course and distance but will have to shoulder a penalty for that one. He had Tamagin behind him in second place that day, and he is one who should ensure that there is a decent gallop today. However he will struggle to dominate today and so is passed over, as is Trifti who has been harshly raised 2lbs for his latest second behind Kabeer. The last-named could struggle from his high draw as he likes to race close to the pace so is taken on with the selection, Tim Pitt's Happy As Larry.
