Peter Grayson could find himself in the winning enclosure here as he saddles all five runners. Obviously the betting should give a major clue as to which will win, but based on form then we will side with Grange Lili. The jockey bookings suggest that he is the main player, and whilst he appears to be better over the minimum trip, we will side with him nevertheless. Stoneacre Gareth should appreciate this drop in trip after failing to get home over longer distances recently, but might struggle to give weight away all round so is passed over. As is Wibbadune who steps up in trip but doesn't look the most straightforward. Kilvickeon and Foxy Music both look very average, and so we return to Grange Lili as our idea of the winner.
Grange Lili (IRE) 12-1 (7-10) Held up towards rear, carried right 3f out, kept on approaching final furlong, 2nd of 6, 2l behind Minnow (7-10) at W'hampton 5f 2yo hcp 0-85 (4) pol.
Foxy Music 16-1 (7-12) Tracked leaders and keen, short of room and lost place 3f out, weakened approaching final furlong, 5th of 6, 6l behind Minnow (7-10) at W'hampton 5f 2yo hcp 0-85 (4) pol.
Stoneacre Gareth (IRE) 14-1 (9-7) Held up behind leaders, ridden well over 1f out, one pace inside final furlong, 5th of 6, 3 1/2l behind Estimator (9-6) at W'hampton 6f 2yo hcp 0-75 (5) std.
Wibbadune (IRE) 11-1 (8-12) Chased leaders, hung right over 2f out, chased winner and drifted left just over 1f out, stayed on, no impression, 2nd of 6, 2 1/2l behind Elhareer (8-12) at W'hampton 5f 2yo mdn (4) pol.
