Verdict
In division two of the maiden, Cordon Bleu gets the call over Ike Quebec and Plaka. Cordon Bleu improved markedly on his York heavy-going debut to finish third at Thirsk last time and further improvement cannot be ruled out today. The Richard Hannon-trained Ike Quebec has shown promise on each start and is granted all due respect, while Lady Docker is related to 11 winners and is certainly worth a look at in the betting on her racecourse debut. Plaka is one of those that is likely to improve on her debut run, while Then 'N Now showed improvement from run one to two at Warwick last time and could be capable of better yet. Finally, Woodcote Wildcat needs to improve markedly on what he has shown in order to justify his purchase price if he is to feature today. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Cordon Bleu.
