Verdict

CORSICA did well to win last time and should be up to going in again ahead of Fairy Flight and Bubbly Braveheart. Frankie Dettori once again rides our selection who is up 5lbs following a game success at Beverley. That came over today's trip which proved he's no stamina concerns and there looked to be a deal more to come. Mark Johnston's colt is selected in preference to Fairy Flight, William Knight's runner. He's not been seen since landing a maiden here in December but providing the horse is ready to go he should run a solid race, with the step up to 1m4f not expected to pose a problem. That said, he's up against it facing our in-form pick, as is Bubbly Braveheart who still has to prove he stays this far. However they shouldn't go a stupid pace here and he has got form on artificial surfaces, so Alan Bailey's charge is preferred to the maiden Layla's Boy and Aattash, who himself has plenty to find with our confident selection, Corsica.
