Many of the progeny of Sadler's Wells do not seem to handle the all-weather tracks but Pukka showed enough here last time to suggest that he is more than capable of taking a race of this nature and is the selection to win this at the main expense of Darn Good and Baawrah. The selection showed signs of ability in two starts on turf during the autumn and stepped up on that when a length third behind Rendezvous Point here over a mile. The step up in trip should suit and Luca Cumani's colt looks the one to beat. Baawrah showed his first worthwhile form on the Fibresand at Wolverhampton recently and has claims if taking to this surface, while Darn Good is consistent but not certain to stay today's trip. The John Jenkins-trained Chara failed to progress from an encouraging debut effort at Windsor when well beaten at Newmarket on his latest start but cannot be dismissed entirely, along with Hold The Line, who should appreciate the longer distance. Sir Mark Prescott's Elusive Dream is another worthy of a mention but may do better in handicaps and we stick with Pukka.
