Faith and Reason can beat Just Observing, with Jebel Ali and Moohimm others worth a mention. Faith And Reason shaped like a progressive juvenile last year, adding to a maiden victory here with a game defeat of Gramm in a Newmarket nursery. After being given the whole winter to strengthen up, he was sent off as favourite on his return to action at Kempton last week, but failed to land the spoils after trying to dominate proceedings. It was probably just lack of a run rather than a 6lb higher mark that contributed to his defeat, and the Godolphin inmate should be a different proposition now. Just Observing is the main danger, but he did not beat much at Folkestone, and was then put in his place when upped to this grade at Ripon next time, so is worth taking on again. Jebel Ali has disappointed since scoring over 10 furlongs here in March but remains a scopey individual with more to offer, while the well-bred Moohimm makes his handicap debut and should pay to follow in time. On this occasion though, it is Faith and Reason that is the one to support.
