We give the vote here to Devil¿s Bite ahead of Alfridini and Imperium with, possibly, Wavertree Girl another to consider. The selection hails from a strong Flat yard and has solid form in the context of this race so keep a close eye on the betting market to get some clues. Alfridini is improving all the time and looks set to run a good race following a staying-on third over course and distance last time. Imperium also has solid Turf form but the step up to this trip last time was inconclusive although there is no obvious reason why it should not suit. Star Fern has chances based on his debut effort, but he will need to settle better than he did last time, and, with Darryll Holland booked, Wavertree Girl is another that might do better over this longer trip. Overall, though, particularly if the market speaks in his favour, we¿ll side with Devil¿s Bite.
