COSIMO DE MEDICI should be able to leave his debut form behind and is preferred to Passion Overflow and Purple Gallery. The experience that Hughie Morrison's gelding gained when a never competitive sixth behind Memorandum over five furlongs on debut will stand him in good stead and he should also be suited by the step up in trip. He's related to plenty of winners and normal improvement could see him take a hand in the finish. Abhar failed to fire on debut but may prove capable of better and it will be worth noting to see how he shapes in the betting in comparison to stablemate Tenacestream.
